Rental Planner privacy

Effective October 10, 2026. This notice applies to the Rentshelf Rental Planner at mcp.rentshelf.app and supplements the Rentshelf Privacy Policy.

Who operates the service

Data used for your request

Your AI client sends the selected tool name and inputs: rental dates, unit counts, prices, costs, availability intervals, a short documentation search query or a guide ID. We use these inputs to calculate a scenario or retrieve a public guide. No account, Shopify authorization or payment information is required. Do not include names, customer information, addresses, credentials or sensitive personal data.

Processing and recipients

Cloudflare processes requests as our hosting and security provider. Calculation inputs are processed in request memory and results are returned to the AI client that called the tool. If you use ChatGPT, OpenAI receives and handles the tool result under its own terms and privacy settings. Other MCP clients handle results under their own policies. This service does not receive your full conversation history and does not send inputs to a model provider itself.

Storage and retention

The application does not persist request bodies, search queries, results or personal profiles. Request memory is transient and is not an application record. No analytics cookies or advertising trackers are used on this site. We log only generic failure categories, without tool arguments, returned content or IP addresses. Cloudflare's standard Workers Logs retention is up to seven days on Paid plans and three days on Free plans. Cloudflare may also process network information, including IP addresses, to deliver and secure the service under its own infrastructure policies.

Rate limits and control

Cloudflare uses the request IP address for a short-lived per-minute rate limit; we do not maintain an IP history in an application database. You can stop using the endpoint or remove the connection in your AI client at any time. Control conversation retention and deletion through that client. Contact us for access, correction or deletion requests concerning any support correspondence; support correspondence is separate from calculation requests. We do not sell tool input data or use it for advertising or model training.
